Mission

T1D PLS exists to expand the idea of what a life with diabetes can contain.

I'm building an international culture magazine made with and for people with type 1 diabetes, a place for the parts of life that don’t fit neatly into clinic appointments or glucose graphs.

Stories, art, humor, science, strange rituals, big questions, ordinary days, different countries, different systems, different ways of living with the same condition.

T1D is global, but our experiences of it are fragmented by language, geography, healthcare systems and the little corners of the internet we happen to end up in.

Making those worlds less separate.

Not to create one universal story of type 1 diabetes. Quite the opposite!

But to show how many different lives can exist inside it.
